dichroic glass is SO expensive... i made 2 simple necklaces... plus a hodgepodge bracelet (which is huge-- probably 8 1/2 inches?)

these are fun and SOOOO cute. they hang very nicely, but they didn't look so hot all flattened out on the scanner.

i like the simplicity of this necklace. it started out as a bracelet, then in progress, i held it up and changed my mind, and made it a necklace. ;-)

long necklace, can be tripled, or whatever!! it's a whopping 65 inches long.

leather cord, wood, and carved serpentine beads. there is a clasp for easier layering.

New Jewelry! 6 photos of "Earthy" creations...

Unisex bracelet: Raku bead on braided suede (brown & black) and leather cord

ceramic sun/moon pendant on braided brown suede.

carved serpentine pendant on braided black suede.

Unisex necklace: pewter pendant on 6 strands of braided leather cord.

re-done raku pendant on braided linen cord. i have NO clue why the linen cord shows up so light... it's much darker than that (and looks a HELL of a lot better than what shows in the photo).

a great necklace made with muskovite, a pink stone with gold flecks in it. very pretty. silver plated chain. i believe it's 17 inches long. will have to measure exactly.

going on etsy soon.

i haven't measured it yet, but it's probably about 45 inches long... long enough to be doubled. no clasp. silver plated chain.

so, behind this cut is a 64-inch necklace. yep! 64 inches long! no clasp. double it, triple it, it's nice & long, which is totally in style right now...

ok, here's the other necklace i made tonight. it's a black onyx pendant set in sterling silver... with black czech glass, sterling silver, and swarovski crystal beads. i like it ;-)

again... it's much prettier in person, but ahh well. my photo skills aren't so good, so i'm relying on the scanner for now.

another kyanite necklace...

i just love kyanite.

i got another pendant bead, and i used up the rest of the smoky quartz to make this necklace and bracelet... but i also threw in some really beautiful bronze faceted czech glass beads. they're opaque and very cool. anyway... pics do NOT do the kyanite justice. at ALL.

then... sorry for this blurry pic, but it actually shows the beauty of that kyanite center stone. soooo lovely. and when you see it in person, you see the depth it has, too. i need to learn how to take better photos....
