this is the technique i've been perfecting: ("wire wrapping")


here is the set... hubby bought me the disc-like beads (flourite) and the amethyst pendant!






sterling silver plated (and not plated) beads, swarovski crystals


my hodgepodge necklace that is 39-ish inches long:


simple pink sparkly necklace


simple all amethyst necklace


freshwater pearl necklace i made to wear for choir performances


the necklace i wore to my interview today:


my very favorite necklace right now. i LOVE it. i cannot part with it. not yet, anyway.

i am thinking about making another set that's similar, because i have another pendant that i don't wear and right now it's just sitting in my jewelry drawer doing nobody any good.

i think hubby did a GREAT job picking out beads & a pendant for me though, don't you think???

Yes, he certainly did!!! If Kevin tried to do that, God knows what I would end up with.... not something I could wear, that's for sure!!!

Wow...I LOVE the purple pendant! Your hubby really did well!!! T goes into bead stores with me and basically thinks I have lost my mind...which he is probably right...hehehe. You really have some great pieces LL! I will try to post some of my picts...they are quite similar to your wire wrapping one.
